Event Overview
Last year SmallWorlders ran a number of briefings exploring the measurement of intranet engagement. Across these sessions we uncovered a number of common themes and challenges that organisations are facing not only across measurement and analysis, but in gaining buy-in from stakeholders, driving take up amongst employees and understanding how new tech is changing how people interact with the platform.
This year, we wanted to address these challenges and provide key insight and tips gained from our own experience. In March we ran our first Strategies for Success seminar in which we discussed all aspects of a successful intranet from technology to content, right through to employee adoption techniques.
Following the success of the first seminar we are holding a second session on 11th June. By the end of the morning you'll have an understanding of strategies that will allow you to develop an effective, highly engaging intranet.
Please RSVP for your complimentary ticket.
Testimonials
‘The event was really great - I really liked Dr. Southgate’s entertaining talk on Behavioural Economics which complemented the more practical talks. I got lots of great advice on how to create an engaging Intranet starting from planning and implementing winning AI and UX and finishing with creating compelling content. I’ll definitely attend again if possible, and will certainly recommend it to colleagues.’
Giulia Fares, Senior Intranet and Internal Digital Channels Manager, O2
“This was a well-paced morning covering all aspects of intranet development – relevant to anyone involved with the process from internal comms and HR to IT and digital. The opportunity to reflect on different perspectives was also well received – for example a broad session on the apparent illogicality of human behaviour fitted well with the importance of user experience and collecting user stories when building any site. There was also a great mix of people involved and it was good to talk with others about their comparative intranet experiences from across a range of industries.”
Chris Newstead, Internal Communications Manager, Wellcome Trust
'The session gave us lots of practical tips- from reminders of writing best practice which I will use straight away to more substantial strategy frameworks. I learned a new way of structuring plans and targeting people in terms of their IT adoption preference. The event has a good range of speakers covering a lot of different aspects of intranet engagement, design, adoption and content and I will definitely attend again!'
